WHO WE ARE
The MHJ Family
Life on Auckland's North Shore — a studying mum, a stay-home dad, and three daughters: Min, Hyun, and Jin. Recording our family's second chapter in New Zealand.
Kia ora,
tauhou
Hello, stranger. Our record of new life in Aotearoa — crossing the Pacific, a middle-aged couple finding their footing with three girls. Under the wide clouds, on a faraway land. May our archive inspire those wandering the same path, and may our hope reach those who are tempted to give up.

THE WRITER
Yussi
WRITER & MSW STUDENTI'm Yussi — a mother of three girls, a social work student at Massey University, and a Korean immigrant slowly making Mairangi Bay home.
I write because it's what I've done my whole life — the small, ordinary moments and the ones that are anything but. Things I want to remember and things I need to let go of. Writing is my work, and sometimes my way of self-care.
This is the journal where a new chapter begins — one we're stepping into, one day at a time.
“If you want to write, all you need is a pen, some paper, or a computer, and a little bit of guts.”
— Roberta Jean Bryant
