Mum's Note

Happy Easter!
This year's Easter turned into a proper little mystery, and we made some lovely memories out of it. The kids combed the garden for hidden eggs, letting the chocolate inside melt on their tongues while they pieced together a puzzle. That puzzle turned into six new quiz questions, and the kids raced to the bookshelf to hunt down the answers. After staring down the shelves for what felt like ages, they finally cracked all six clues. Those clues folded into one last riddle, leading them to the final treasure site. And what was the treasure? A proper movie afternoon — popcorn included!
For Mum, too, Easter was its own kind of fun. Sneaking off to buy plastic eggs, secretly printing quizzes and a movie poster. Cutting up puzzle pieces, tucking them into eggs, slipping the clues into the very books while the kids were asleep. Not to mention the quick dash around the garden to hide it all.
A day when both the hider and the seekers had to move and think like secret agents. Building our own little traditions, our own bits of fun — the process is always this enjoyable.
