Hunt the Riddles!

This Easter, the usual egg hunt turned into a four-stage challenge, with each puzzle leading to the next.

STAGE 1 · THE EGG HUNT

Eighteen colourful plastic eggs were hidden around the garden. Each egg contained two things: a little heart-shaped chocolate and a strip of paper. The first mission was simple:
find all eighteen eggs. Once every egg had been collected and opened, however, it became clear that the hunt wasn’t over. The eighteen strips of paper belonged together, and putting them in the right groups revealed the next challenge.

STAGE 2 · THE BOOK QUIZ

The eighteen pieces formed six different book quizzes. Each quiz pointed to a book somewhere on the shelves, so the hunt moved indoors. Once the answer was worked out, the matching book had to be found on the shelves. Hidden inside each correct book was another piece of paper — one part of the clue for the next stage. One by one, six new pieces were collected.
